How To Promote Your Website Effectively: Let’s Find Out!

Say for instance, you’re just 23 and you forgot that your audience was set to 30 and above.

If you were born to be a genius, maybe they may find your website to be really reliable & helpful for it appears to be done by a pure professional.

But if you are just an amateur who just want to promote a website, I’ll tell you, nobody will ever click that! They might click it only by a mistake or they are just curious about it. And nothing else.

So I highly suggest that your audience should be a bit lower of your age, but will not also exceed so much to your age.

In that way, there’s bigger tendency that most of you will have common interests since the age gap isn’t so near or far.

Just the right amount of age gap. 👌

And once they find something common in you, that’s when they might get interested in your blog and would probably pay a visit often.

What I’m really trying to say is that, Don’t go for a set of people who are more knowledgeable and well experienced than you. Cause you’ll never get the audience that you are truly looking for.

  • Gender

You really have to know who is your main audience. If your website is all about make-up line, make sure that you mark or choose the right audience (e.g women, bi, trans and the like). Or else you’ll be losing a lot of opportunity for promoting your website…in just a snap!

Imagine if you carelessly send those promotions to all men!

Probably the gay ones will only be the one to appreciate your work/website.

Not unless, that’s really is your target!

  • Location

I know, you also wanted to know the whole world about your cool website, but please be very realistic especially for someone who just started a career.

Mine was actually set to United States and my page for promoting my website feels invisible.

Because nobody knows me there!

Not even a single one!

And that’s when I started to realized that,

It would be best and safest to start promoting your website…

Only with a few audience & just within your country first.

That way, those who knew you will be curious about what your blog is all about and may support your work as well.

Aside from promoting your website that’s under your budget, it is also a must that they get to at least see your page first. So they will now have a preview of what kind of website you offer.

Mind you, they will not dare to click the link of your website for the reasons that, one; it’s a spam, two; it’s a scam, and three; whatever that is, they will refuse to give in to some kind of “clickbait” thing. 😉

The other things that I also want you to know is, to make use of tags!

It is one way to get an audience, but don’t over do it way too much.

Otherwise, they might feel that all you ever wanted is to have a bigger audience and not about the content.

And lastly, you have to save your other blog posts for later.

No matter how you truly want it, control it!

Don’t post it after one or another, there has to be an element of surprise. ✨

Or else, they’ll get bored way too much that in just a few clicks, they’ll start leave you forever!

And that’s when you totally lose a potential client!

These are just some of the things that I unexpectedly tried & tested!

So please do me a favor,

Kindly share it to others as well, so they will not also have to deal with a lot of thing.

Thank you! 💖

By the way, you can also leave a comment below of what are the mistakes you’ve done in promoting your website.

Mine was promoting my website from age 18 to 65 and it’s from US! 😂 My God!

I should not have proceeded the promotion if the age gap and location were so wrong!

That’s just the intriguing part, where all were filled up for you and you mindlessly just accepted the kind of set-up.

I honestly admitted that I fully relied on them, not realizing that I overlooked what’s neccessary and what’s not to promote!

But overall, it was still a good experience ’cause with that,

I was able to teach you some of the neccessary steps to promote your website.

Isn’t it also a win-win situation after all? ☺

So, how about you?

Again, what are the mistakes you’ve done for the sake of promoting?

Don’t be shy!
