Labor & Reward

I have this kind of habit that whenever I achieved something, I need to reward myself.

It doesn’t have to be grand.

It can be a small celebration for an accomplished work.

Say for example, I was able to finish my work despite my tight schedule.

After work, I’ll probably eat some popcorn while watching a film of my choice.

Other times, I’ll go straight to our hotel just to reward myself with a shake and will have some light dinner.

After that, I’ll proceed to our pool area and I’ll be swimming in the adult pool.

If I feel lazy to go out, I’ll just read a book ’til I get sleepy.

Why am I habitually rewarding myself?

The logic is simple.

A work with no diversion is such a pain.

But if you were able to at least grab yourself a coffee and a nice set of music playing, I guess you’ll survive the day.

That’s how I motivate myself.

Rewards can also be given on or before work and after work.

The choice is yours.

But the buttom line of this is that…

Every labor should come with a price or a reward.

You see, working for long hours is no joke.

Not only that it is labor-intensive, but it is also exhausting.

So I guess, there’s nothing wrong to breathe some fresh air and take a couple of minutes break.

So for you, how do you reward yourself every time you accomplish something?
