The Irony Behind The Gift Card

Featured Image: From This Website

Isn’t it ironic that they are giving something which in the end, they are still the one who can benefit the most!

Gift card, gift certificate, voucher, and the like.

Whatever they offer that is free of charge, I honestly don’t get the idea of having one!

Mind you, they want to treat you for your loyalty and also like to express how grateful they are to have you as their client.

However, there’s an expiration.

Are they really serious about it?!

I honestly feel bad ’cause they always offer something, which I honestly don’t need for a moment.

And whenever I’m about to use their special offer, it quickly vanished like a bubble!

So what’s really the purpose of having one!

Don’t you think it’s quite unethical that they are giving something where in, we are honestly not entitled to override their policy.

Like being able to request an extention for us to be able to use it when necessary and needed.

They shouldn’t have offered it in the first place, if it will just be forfeited very soon!

Am I correct?

I somehow find it insulting, too that they just make money out of greed.

It’s like giving your friend a gift on her birthday, but later on that day, you found out that she was talking behind your back.

Would you take back your gift to her?

Would you leave it to her to show how grateful you are for the friendship?

Despite the fact the she betrayed you.

But honestly speaking,

In my own opine and understanding…

Whatever is given should remain the same regardless of situation.

‘Cause for me, it will show some sincerity that your sole intention is to make the person happy and if betraying someone would make her happier, then just let her be.

After all, guilt is something that will forever haunt you!

So, for you, would you sincerely give it to the person or you’re not really a hundred percent a giving person?

Comment below and share it with us your disappointment of receiving one.
