When Slow Internet Connection Is Testing Your Patience

Featured Image: Pexels

I find it truly unfair for we’ve been paying fairly just to get the fast internet connection we truly deserve and they ain’t get their job right for us.

How truly heart breaking when all you could ever do is to consume all your prepaid load just for you to have it.

If you’re going to rate your internet connection from 1-10,ย  how would you rate it? Feel free to comment below. Gracias!

Cursing someone is not a good thing.

Featured Image: learnreligions

You know, it is hard to live when someone is just waiting for you to lose in the game of life.

Today, my post will be short and simple. I was cursed by just one mistake. I was cursed that if something bad happen, it is because of my little mistake.

One mistake, end of your life!

How about you? How does it feel to be cursed by someone who is dear to you?

I am in deep shocked knowing that someone who is close to me can say such hurtful word like that.

How totally lame to focus more on the mistakes of others than to see and value them for their good deeds!

Thank you for taking the time to read my post and I am doing fine despite the curse that I unexpectedly received today.

Deep and profound!

Sunday is my only free time to read a book and while I was reading on page 77, this short poem of John Maxwell captured my attention.

Isn’t it true that life comes only after pain? ‘Cause in pain we get to understand the true meaning of life. So while we are still alive, do things that will leave a beautiful mark in our world, most especially in this time of pandemic.

Make use of your time wisely. Share what you can only give and never look down on others. Always be respectful and know that for every blessing you receive is just borrowed from God above.

I hope you enjoyed the short poem that I’ve shared with you all. Happy Sunday and may you enjoy the rest of the day. ๐Ÿ’›

How is your day going?

I know, it must be hard for you seeing a lot of cruelty and suffering all around the world. There’s racism, pandemic, and a lot of killings. What had just happened to the world? This year 2020 had suffered so much that it is hard to take.

Do you all agree?

In this time of pandemic, many were still unable to see their family because they were trapped in lockdown. Different means of transportation have been suspended due to COVID-19.

Rape, child abuse, suicide, corruption, and the like continue to increase and so are making illegal drugs. Some were even forced to do it just for them to put food on the table ’cause globally we are on crisis.

It is hard to see people losing their job that is dear to them because most business establishments, regardless of size can no longer afford to give any compensations to their workers due to long closure of operations.

As for business owners, it must be hard for you dealing millions or even billions of loses in the market.

For the families who have lost their loved ones because they are the frontliners who were willing and dedicated enough in saving other people’s life, I sincerely empathize with you.

Those people who are single and a solo parent, it must be hard on your part taking all the burden and even the risk you take just to be able to support your child.

Poor became poorer due to the unfair treatment of society.

Those who are planning to go on trips as a way to destress after working tirelessly, but were trapped in their own houses to keep themselves and their family safe.

Those animals who are also suffering from hunger just like humans ’cause everyone is in short on budget and some have nothing left on their pocket and their loans have just increased.

And just like jeepney drivers, their only hope is from donations of strangers.

Those who are landlords, it must also be hard on your part not being able to receive any payment on time from your tenant because they have no work for several months. And the same struggle goes to other companies that provide electricity and water.

And lastly, those people that were able to survive from COVID-19. I know your health have been greatly affected by this virus and therefore, recovery wasn’t really easy as it seems.

Though, some of you have already recovered from covid-19, I know that you are still in pain and in the process of healing. Unfortunately, some people cannot understand or get what you are going through and so they have no plans in taking this virus seriously, not unless they too catch it by themselves.

Countless of people didn’t care to take this pandemic seriously.

Life is precious!

But for others? It felt like life was just a joke!

These people are the selfish and the coldhearted ones.

Know that all of us were suffering in this trying time, so I am praying and hoping that more people would start to cooperate and do their part as well.

The only thing that I could say to everyone is to please hold on tight. Believe in Christ and have faith. Christian or not, know that in the eyes of God we are all equal and the same.

Some may not call Him by his name and that’s alright ’cause we were born in different parts of the world.

But whether you believe it or not,

He saw all the sufferings. He knew from the very beginning that we are in pain!

This pandemic will soon come to an end and hopefully, whatever lessons we had learned and are continuously learning, may we take it from the heart so we will never forget it.

Again, cling on to God and may we willingly open our eyes and take our time to see the positive purpose of this struggle.

Most importantly, may we also have the ear to listen earnestly to God’s wonderful message and lastly, a mouth that is willing to speak nothing but the whole truth!

By writing this post, may we be reminded by the fact that some were lucky to beat this virus, but some were not. May we never forget to pray for the people that weren’t really ready to die, but death had just happened shortly and unexpectedly.

May we also pray for the bereaved families to be able to find light and comfort that they need in this darkest moment of their life.

Praying and hoping for the departed souls to find peace and happiness in the paradise of Christ.

To conclude, may we have the courage to trust God all the way and the attitude to know the made up stories from not.

How are you doing, Folks?

What have you learned in this time of pandemic that you are confident to share with us?

Feel free to share what’s on your mind and thank you for reading my lengthy post.

God bless!

Do you have this kind of behavior?

The reason why I shop a lot is not because I have more money to spend for, but this is something that I can make it happen!

I am not saying nor encouraging every one of you to buy something that will not benefit you in the long run. But rather, I’m trying to tell you something to buy the things that can make you happy; that can at least compensate you to things that are not possible to happen as of the moment.

Moreover, I shop a lot whenever I am at my lowest, ’cause I have this strong belief that by simply rewarding yourself…that will give you comfort; will remind you of how worthy you are; and will help you accept the fact that it is okay to not feel okay.

In short, I find it therapeutic for me ’cause there is something good to look forward to.

And I bet, everyone loves that kind of feeling, too.

You see, when everything is dull, boring or monotonous, at least you get to see new things at home and get to try some other stuff while choosing to stay at home to be safe and covid-free!

Again, I do not buy something all for nothing. But rather I buy in order to gain something and that creates a difference from a naive to a smart shopper.

How about you? What’s your story? Please share it below. Gracias!

The Worst Nightmare Of Having Atopic Dermatitis (Eczema)

Hello, Dear I’m 25 years old and had been struggling with this kind of skin problem. For those of you who don’t know about this yet, feel free to click the provided link for further information. And for those who have atopic dermatitis (eczema), I guess we can all I agree that by having this in our skin is the worst nightmare we ever had! For this is bothersome especially at night, where you just want to rest and have enough sleep. Right? But by having this made it more difficult to achieve because we are experiencing some extreme dryness in our skin that appeared to be flaky and feel itchy at the same time.

Few years ago when I was still free from atopic dermatitis or only have a mild eczema, I used to have healthy skin and Cetaphil has been my brand for many years because it is fragrance free! More favorable to me since I have sensitive skin. However, when atopic dermatitis becomes more active, Cetaphil no longer work best on my end. But it is still the best cleansing soap for I have never experienced any itchiness or redness after using this. It is just so sad that this infection cannot be cured by a mere soap. But I remained positive about it. I know, it won’t cure anything, but this product lessens the itchiness and irritation of my skin to unknown triggers. What more if I don’t invest in a better brand, right? I guess, it will be much worser than this.

Anyway, because of my case I have consulted to a number of dermatologists, but decided to go back to my allergist for I believe…will be able to cure this infection. He was even confident that this is something not be worried about and so I trusted him well enough. Week after week, I saw some improvements. Thank God! But once I have consumed all the prescribed medicines and so the infection starts to reappear. I have realized that none of them really do get rid of my skin’s condition, it just prevents it from becoming worst but it is still there! I honestly don’t even know what really triggers me which forced me to become more vigilant of my surroundings. You know what’s even more tiring?  It is when you can hardly identify the real triggers. Now, I fully understand why they end up giving me tons of list and that is to somehow give me a clue of which might be the cause of my skin irritation.

They even advised me to at least have a balance diet and to regularly moisturize the infected area of my skin. But to tell you honestly, it was a lot of work and everything was just a trial and error thing. At that moment, I was fully convinced that there was no cure for this type of skin problem yet and it was heartbreaking to know for it already spread all over my body. Please do excuse me for I’ll be giving a detailed information about my case.

Atopic dermatitis (eczema) does not only ruin your sleep, but also affects you emotionally.

I have it all over my scalp, ears, arms, legs and even on some private parts of my body! That’s really a horror story for someone who already have a sensitive skin plus has infection. Do you all agree?

Apart from this, I  have been using a product that contains steroids, a topical one to be exact. One is in a liquid form, but the rest are in the form of cream/lotion/ointment. For me, it works like magic! But I will not give you the names of these brands for I am not authorized to give a prescription to you and to anyone and I will take this moment to apologize for not sharing a specific brand of this. But here’s the good news! It can be gone for a few days, but sadly will appear again the moment you’ve lost enough sleep, became stressed, ate too much of dairies and many more!

Anyway, one of my dermatologists and allergist prescribed me that contains steroids. Though it can give you a quick fix, it cannot be used regularly for it has side effects as well. I will not go deeper into this topic to not mislead people since I am not an expert or has a background on this. But you are free to make a research about it, though.

By the way, to help me cope with this kind of struggle, I just simply lessen my stress and strive to have enough sleep despite the fact that it is hard to ignore this condition. I know and I accepted the fact that it will never cure my atopic dermatitis, but at least I am doing something that will not put my health at risk.

Anyhow, I don’t want to sound hyprocite here since I did benefit from using steroids, so I am also giving you the positive sides of it in the best possible way.

Here are some of the benefits that I’ve gained from using steroids for several years already, but discontinue right away once it got treated. Meaning to say, I only use it when it is no longer bearable or manageable. Feel free to check it below!

  • Quick treatment
  • Lessen itchiness after a few minutes
  • Can disappear after a day of application
  • Prevents you from touching or scratching your infected skin

Sounds great, right? Now, you must be thinking of using any brand that contains steroids, but let me tell you this before you do so.

Here’s the real thing, this may be an answer to your sleepless nights and will now let you concentrate on your tasks, but relying too much on this will only make your situation even worst!

Just think it this way, it’s like an antibiotic, the more you use it, the more it becomes less effective, which will force anyone to increase the number of dosage he/she takes. As for the topical treatment with steroids, the regular you apply, efficacy lessens in no time! So in short, a quick fix doesn’t mean you got cured right away. It just means temporarily treated, but will reappear after a few days.

The next thing that I will share with you is the fact that I ignored some of their recommendations or pieces of advice. Few years ago, I was asked by my allergist to get rid of dairies to somehow lessen my skin irritation. I have actually read everything, but never really complied with it. And I don’t know why. I just feel that it is a little bit too much to give up the dairies that I take regularly. As a result of not listening and taking it lightly, I have then suffered far from my expectation.

Fast forward, after going through a lot of painful nights all because of my hardheadedness, I have finally learned my lesson. Yes! Whenever I feel like my atopic dermatitis is getting thicker, becoming red and itchy, that’s a sign for me to stop consuming dairies or to take a deep breath whenever I feel so stressed. Also, to stop whatever I am doing and just sleep when my body is really forcing me to rest.

By the way, who’s addicted to coffee here? Please count me in for I am so in loveeeee with coffee! But too much intake of it really do harm me, especially my skin. It becomes irritated and more sensitive. So, for those who are coffee lovers like me and has atopic dermatitis, please lessen your intake of coffee especially when you start to feel that your skin is becoming inflamed/irritated than it used to.

I know, some of you would ask me why not ditch all dairies? Right? Well, here’s my simple and honest reply, I cannot imagine a life without having sweets to munch or drink on. Chocolates, coffee, donuts, whatever that is really do make me happy especially in difficult times even if it means not actually curing my situation. You see, life is short, so enjoy it while you still can. I just strongly believe that moderation is the answer for this infection and not deprivation. Do you agree with me?

I know, I may be acting strange if I will not tell you that there weren’t days where I feel like giving up, because there is! Everyday of my life is a struggle! Having this isn’t really a joke for I had this skin problem for a couple of years already and I can no longer recall when did it start since a lot of things going on. Especially now, in this time of pandemic where people are constrained to get treated because most hospitals became overwhelmed by a high number of covid patients. In other words, it is also not safe to go to hospital, clinic or to any public places as of the moment.

Enough of lengthy sharing and drama, I am only sharing this for obvious reason and that is to let other people know that atopic dermatitis is not like a simple skin problem. Its complications or effects vary from person to person. And I am here to send my love for those who are also struggling, suffering and even losing hope to have a solution for this infection.

I believe, by simply voicing out my situation could help anyone to understand this infection. Also, by sharing this could give comfort to people that they are never alone. Thus, no one deserve to remain silent with this case or to take this case any less.

Feel free to share the worst experience you’d ever gone through because of this. By sharing, we will be able to give hope to those who are also needing some attention, some support and most of all, some light of encouragement to continue the fight.

It may be hard, but I know for sure that there will be a cure for this, given the fact that our world is becoming more and more advanced. So, while we are waiting for it to come, let’s do our best to be in the best shape! ๐Ÿ’ช

Keep believing, keep fighting!

Ever heard of this saying? “Doing Nothing Often Leads To the Very Best of Something”

Hello Fellas, I got this from the 2018 film Christopher Robin. It is just nice to know that such simple saying can create an impact to everyoneโ€™s life. It may sound clichรฉ, but honestly it is often neglected by many even myself.

Growing up, I realized how hard it is to balance work, family, relationship and everything in between. Whatever you prioritize, there is this thing called a sense of gratitude. Youโ€™ve read it correctly! Admit it, we cannot survive every lifeโ€™s struggle with no one to lean on and thus, we also cannot just leave them behind after all the care and understanding they have given to us.

Say for example, at work, I am pretty sure that most of us in general will not be able to surpass the hardships of extreme labor without any support system coming from our colleagues or loved ones. What we have achieved and what will be receiving in life is also their achievement for there is really no such thing as being alone for life. You may not have a family but I guess, everyone has that someone in our lives to help us get through it. It may not be by blood, but the connection or support system is there. Not just humans alone, but can also be your pet or plant you used to do a pep talk with. Itโ€™s quite weird, but though they are not responding exactly as humans, they are also alive and may somehow help you cope with reality.

Why am I sharing about this stuff?

Simply because I want everyone to remember that having a break doesnโ€™t actually mean doing nothing, but rather creating a way to reconnect with your loved ones or someone who also needs your attention or support. Please do thank them and remind them how blessed you are to have them in your life. It may just be a simple gesture of love, but even small things can rekindle connection or friendship. We humans are wired to communicate and it wonโ€™t hurt our lives spending it for someone that also deserves it.

Try to observe your surroundings, maybe you need to water your plant or remove the dirt/dead leaves from them. Maybe your dog/cat needs a haircut or a bath. Or simply need a walk and play with them from time to time. You may also need some time alone to reflect or repent for your shortcomings. This may also be a chance for you to fix your stuff at home. Now, take this opportunity for the betterment of yourself. You might set a date for your loved ones or to whoever you ever wanted to express gratitude with, but failed to do so because of so much stuff on your plate.

Furthermore, also make a habit to cut your routine every once in awhile for there is so much thing in life and that is their presence. Do yourself a favor, make a call to your parents in case there has been an argument that hasnโ€™t been able to solve. Ask for a vacation/sick leave in case your body is telling you to rest or might need a checkup. You may also request for a meetup with someone in case you want to ask for forgiveness. Reconciliation or closure is also a good thing โ€™cause you are freeing yourself from a heavy heart and hopefully, that will also go the same way for him /her.

In this time of pandemic, that does not mean we are constrained to do something about it. Nothing is ever limited to those who are willing enough to make time for those things you have failed doing so and is now willing to make amends.

On that note, doing nothing often leads to the very best of something because you are taking your time to redirect yourself; to correct what you have done wrong in your life; to appreciate their existence and worth. And most importantly, to realize Godโ€™s mercy that in everything we do, He is just there next to us who is always ready to extend his hands whenever we feel like quitting or giving up.

I hope I made you smile today and whatever you may be struggling, we got your back! Kindly leave us a comment below in case you need to voice out something or just want to give a feedback about this post.

Thank you so much for reading my blog post, RT Peeps! God bless and please donโ€™t forget to practice the New Normal Guidelines in this trying time. Keep safe and good luck to do some catch up. ๐Ÿ™‚

I Thought of Changing My Direction

Since it’s giving me a headache and stress on thinking of what featured image to post or what video to share in order to convey the purpose of my blog post, I plan of making things simpler and easier today.

After all, it all just serve as a props to me.

Though I strongly believe that visual works better, I guess it would all be useless if your work doesn’t have any substance. Plus, I have a full-time job and it’s hard on my end to create a balance on work, personal obligations and everything in between.

That is all I can say for now.

By the way, please expect to receive my blog post anytime of the day since having a fix schedule of publishing a blog doesn’t work well on me.

In short, we don’t have to stick to our original plan. Just stick to things that will work for you.

Thank you for reading my blog post. God bless and keep safe, RT Peeps!

How Do You Cope With This Whole Quarantine Thing?

Featured Image: AccuWeather

Today, I’m gonna share with you a video which I saw on Facebook for I find this to be as an eye opener to many. I am also spreading this video for the whole world to know. I honestly could relate to it because that’s how I view my life as of the moment.

Maybe we have overlooked all the little things that matter to us and take this life as if we all know what is bound to happen.

Well, we are all wrong. ‘Cause whether we do something or not, we still have no control over the world!

To tell you honestly, when I started working in our family business, I was too scared to get involve; to not know anything; and to fail the expectations of people around me. Most of all, there were a lot of things that I did give up due to work demands. Of course, it’s our own business so it is expected that their children will soon be the one to take over…whether we like it or not.

But right now, even if we are still working for we sell essential products, our time of business operations were shortened and that’s where I get to have some ample time to do the stuff that I failed doing for so long.

As of the moment, I am making use of my time to all the things that I have missed out for roughly 4 years! You read it right. You know, time flies quickly once you got busier that we sometimes fail to chill, relax and enjoy life.

Call me insane or exaggerated, but believe me or not, once you start working you need to give up some other things. Otherwise, you will be doomed! In addition to that, there’s no time for you to just play around or to take these things as lightly as how you want it to be. ‘Cause now, your life is on the line!

You may have a family or friends to lean on, but you should know very well that nothing is permanent in this world. Soon, they will get older and some of your close friends may lost their contacts with you due to their personal commitment as well. Thus, being too dependent to anyone is not something that will help you to grow and mature. You have to do it on your own and just be yourself.

Cause the truth is,

Once you go out and be into the real world, everything needs to be adjusted; needs to be changed. Ready or not, life must go on!

Instead of being pessimistic about this long period of quarantine, why not see this thing as an opportunity to learn new things; to challenge yourself; and to even make time for yourself and loved ones.

Cherish this moment ’cause once this pandemic has ended, at least you’ve done something you need it the most. And that is your whole self!

A lot of times we worry so much that we don’t even realize that we are the ones putting a lot of pressure and stress to our lives.

The ultimate enemy is us for we are the only one who knows ourselves better and this is something we can control of. Well, depending on your willingness to change for a better tomorrow.

Now, I am asking everyone to please do yourself a favor. Change the way you live your whole life. Do something that that you care about the most. Your health, family, dreams, etc. For I strongly believe that…

If you can be better, then you can do something bigger.

Am I correct?

By the way, for someone who doesn’t know me well, I grew up loving the idea of being such a busy person. I love doing anything that I feel doing all for the glory of being good at something. I may be lazy for awhile, but never did I try to do nothing most of the time. For those who were damn busy as hell like me, cheers! We all deserve to have this moment. โค

No offense meant. I just hope that all of you do get the point of this whole quarantine.

It is not just about staying at home, it is also about doing something for mankind.

And God is simply redirecting us to do something much more worthy of our time.

After this whole quarantine period, I just hope that people will be able to realize that money, power, fame, greed, material possessions, and any other obsessions are not the things that last.

But rather, it is the kindness that we give and share from person to person.

For it leaves a beautiful mark in every heart and mind of people. Whether big or small act of kindness, it still means that you care about the people around. – You care about life!

Now, I encourage all of you to please stay at home most especially if your work is non-essential. Only go out when you need to buy something. But to prevent this from going out too often, try to stock enough essentials and please wear some personal protective equipment (PPE) whenever you are outside. Whether that’s a face mask, face shield, gloves and the like. You may also need to bring a travel size 70% alcohol for preventive measure of catching a virus. But never forget to wash your hands with soap and water regulary as possible. For it is still way better than just rubbing your hands with alcohol. And please practice social distancing with your family even at home. ‘Cause we never know. We honestly can’t tell what will happen next, so it is better if we at least follow all the preventive measures wherever we go or where we are staying at.

Most importantly,

Please don’t forget to pray!

Even if we are doing something for our country and the whole world, praying is something that we should never underestimate. Nonbelievers or believers of Christ are still made by God.

While we are healing as one, hopefully we are also respecting each and everyone.

Thank you for reading my blog post, RT Peeps. ๐Ÿ˜˜ Keep safe everyone and God bless you all! ๐Ÿ™

By the way, what for you are the greatest things you learn or discover during this time of COVID-19?

Why Would You Need To Expect Less?

Featured Image: Pinterest

Nowadays, people are so used to expect a lot from others; from their ambitions; from their status in life and so on and so forth.

Yet, they failed to embrace uncertainties for they already pictured what being successful should look like.

As a result of that, they tried to do more than what is expected them to do. But doing more without a pause or a break will only cause you to feel burnout. So my advice is to not conclude that what did not work for you does not equate to not doing your best. God is simply redirecting you to what you truly deserve.

Have a leap of faith and take one step at a time.
