We’ve always dreamt of something ideal in every aspect of our lives.
Ideal relationship, job, life, hobby and so on.
But when something isn’t happening at our expected place and time, we feel like a failure.
Am I correct?
But here’s my question…
Is it bad to really have an ideal thing in mind?
Well, it depends on how a person behave on that idea.
If you are someone who uses that as a source of motivation, then that’s definitely a good news!
But if you are someone who uses that as a cause for discouragement, then that’s not a good thing to know.
This person can experience some kind of fixation in every failure of his life.
The person who clings to something that isn’t happening would spend all his life asking and blaming himself why it isn’t happening?
He would probably use all his money, time, and energy for the sake of having at least one.
And what’s worst? He had been stucked there all his life without even realizing it.
If you know someone who is like that, you can try to console them.
However, if they are not the type of person who wants someone to help them get through their toughest time, unsolicited advice wouldn’t help.
The least thing that you could ever do is to pray for the person and just let God do the changing.
To be really honest here, sometimes we also get too attached in fixing other’s life. We became so worried that this person might not succeed in life due to several wrong decisions he has ever made.
The saddest part is this.
Along the way, we too did not realize that if everything fails, God is always there to help.
It’s not like we would stop caring for the person we loved.
What I’m really saying is…
Just try to keep an eye on them, but from a distance. Don’t make the person feel that he cannot make the right decision for himself.
Let the person grow on his own.
Sometimes, being controlling isn’t helping at all. So you also have to know the person well.
Let’s bare in mind that all of us have a different kind of personality and a one kind of approach doesn’t fit to all.
Some people want a direct advice.
Some just want to have a silent treatment.
And some just want to let them find themselves…alone!
So my only advice is to stop being such a nagger whether you are his parent, friend, and even if his constant.
Just only give the right amount of attention, love and care for the person ‘cause anything that is too much isn’t helping at all.
BALANCE IS STILL THE KEY!
So how about you? What are the things that are ideal to you? And how do you react to things that didn’t go as planned?
