What’s Your Favourite Staple Food?

When I was a kid, I am fond of eating eggs.

And until now, I still am. 🙈

I don’t know what’s with eggs, but any kind of cook so long as it is egg, I have no issue on that. 😋

Eggs for me is my source of energy and sometimes, my stress reliever.

If you knew the TV commercial when the mom closes her son’s ears because there’s a vendor outside their house who is shouting “Balut“.

I was like that kid, too.

For I am so much in love with eggs and I guess, there’s nothing wrong with that.

Just make sure that you don’t eat way too much ’cause it is high in cholesterol despite the fact that it has many health benefits.

So, what’s your favourite staple food?

How Come The New Philippine Coins Are Not User Friendly?

If you’re based in the Philippines, you’ll understand how difficult now to distinguish the differences of the new designed coins released by BSP (Bangko Sentral Ng Pilipinas).

Last March 26, 2018, there’s an article written by Pauline Miranda about the sole reason of changing its design and its color. Kindly visit NOLISOLI website to be well informed. Their reasons might shock you!

I wouldn’t discuss this further since she briefly explained it well.

HK: City of Hustle

If you already watched the Filipino film of Cathy Garcia-Molina which is Hello Love, Goodbye, you’ll understand what I will tackle about.

Well, the film was set in Hong Kong (HK).

As the film introduces the story to the audience, the more I became excited.

“Every minute counts.”

In the most difficult situation of job seeking, HK is not highly recommended especially to anyone who is weak or can’t stand being away from his/her family.

The film depicts the saddest and heartbreaking job of being a DH (Domestic Helper).

For someone who is not a resident there, they could only get one job .

Once a DH, always be a DH!”

That means, you cannot freely choose what your heart’s desire.

And if you ever get caught of having a different job, you’ll be penalized.

I am honestly writing a reaction blog post about this film.

Not only that it won the hearts of OFWs, but it also opens the eye of the audience about the real struggle of people who are OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers).

OFWs are restricted in many forms and it felt like they are considered to be the outcast.

That is why, if you are lucky enough to have a good life, please take good care of it ’cause not everyone has been blessed by it.

How about you? What are your thoughts about this film?
